Didn't need safe mode to flash it the second time, which is very lucky from what I understood. However, I did find a youtube video that a guy explained how he programed a joysitck arduino to trick the ps3 into thinking it was the original controller! What I ended up doing is testing my luck and trying to flash the HFW the second time from the XMB again. UPDATE: Well, it seems that for now, it is utterly impossible to enter the safe mode without the original ps3 controller for the average user. The safe mode screen wants me to press the ps button but no matter what I tried it didn't work.Is there actually a fix for this? or is it UTTERLY impossible? Can I download a dualshock 3 driver on the ps4 controller and trick it somehow? HELP. I ONLY have a ps4 controller and have no way of getting an original ps3 controller. And in order to flash it for the second time I entered safe mode. I was installing HFW for my ps3 to install ps3hen.
