So if you experience crashes you will have to get a new SSD and reinstall Windows 10, without the bloat software.Īs for MSI I contacted them numerous times and got zero satisfaction. Something in their bloat software is on the SSD (C drive) and the C drive is crashing because of this bloat software. A bad batch might explain why some select few don't seem to experience the constant crashes.ģ) A combination of 1 & 2. I know it's the SSD because I moved everything off the C drive (SSD) except the OS and the number of crashes went down. But others have reinstalled the OS many times and still get crashes.Ģ) The SSD's are either bad or incompatible. I called MSI support and they still completely deny all of this saying nothing is wrong with their SSD's.ġ) Their Windows 10 installation is trash and their bloatware causes crashes. I used to experience crashes 3-10 times a day. I replaced the SSD with a different one (this time M2 instead of the SATA SSD) and did a totally new Windows 10 install without any of their bloatware.

I believe the SSD is incompatible with the motherboard. UPDATE: The cause of the constant crashing is the SD that they install. If the crashing was fixed I would give it 5/5 but right now it's barely 2/5. So far I can't figure out what the cause is. I noticed another user having the same problem.

I also did a check to make sure Win 10 didn't have an issue. I re-seated all the cards and cables, did a chkdsk, got rid of some of the bloat software and still the crashes. The problem is both computers experience constant crashing. In fact I convinced my oldest son to also buy one.
